Rocky Top is a five piece country band with a little old time rock n roll flare. Rocky Top has been voted "Best Band in the Bismarck-Mandan Area" six years in a row. They have also been nominated for the JC Penny's Golden Rule Award, which is given to volunteers throughout the area. In 2001 they won the Bismarck Tribune Volunteer Award for all of the work the band puts in to the Down Country Christmas Show , a benefit for the Ruth Meyers Hospitality House.

Rocky Top has opened for many big named talent such as, Johnny Cash, Nitty Gritty Dirt Band, and others. They perform for many wedding dances, private parties and also many street dances and county fairs. They have been performing at the North Dakota Winter Show for the past 14 years.
